VISION

To support and showcase WV agricultural businesses and educate the public on the importance of sustainability and partnerships in agriculture and tourism.

MISSION

To promote and support quality growth and sustainable development of WV’s agritourism industry by stimulating visitor interest and providing rich and unique experiences through local community connections and collaboration.

GOALS

  1. Being a voice for all agritourism operations, and the industry as a whole, to take impactful steps toward more progressive laws and guidelines.
  2. Providing support to any agritourism operation entity that is welcoming the public onto their land or otherwise involved in agritourism, through:
    • Networking
    • Advocacy
    • Education and Training
    • Collaboration
    • Communication and Marketing
  3. Partner with other state associations and government agencies in providing meaningful resources and marketing materials.
  4. Be a recognized, credible “grassroots level” group to lobby for local, state, and national farm policy & legislation changes in the interest of agritourism development.
